Super Regions are the NCAA's selection regions for Division II football. Football conferences are assigned to SR1, SR2, SR3 or SR4; an independent school needs its own published placement. Each region sends eight teams, and the first three rounds are played within each regional bracket.

Which alignment is shown?

The conference assignments below come from Appendix B of the NCAA 2026-27 football prechampionship manual (opens in a new tab). Schools are grouped using the football conferences in our current roster. A school's placement can change when the NCAA publishes a new manual.

The official NCAA football page is checked daily for a newer manual. Last checked Oct 27, 6:45 AM CT. The published manual year remains visible while a newer alignment has not been confirmed.
